Our Impact
Our impact continues to grow with the needs of our community. To date, we have served well over 160 individuals and built meaningful partnerships within the Latino and Somali communities in Columbus. Most recently, through a collaborative drive with the Simakovsky Law Firm, we were able to support approximately 30 families in a single effort. While we are proud of what we have accomplished, we are committed to doing more and expanding our reach to serve even more families in need.
Featured Projects
Senior Care Packages
We also prepare and distribute senior care packages to support older members of our community. These packages include essential food items and thoughtful necessities to help ease daily burdens and show that they are not forgotten. It’s a small but meaningful way we extend care, respect, and connection to those who have given so much.
Coat Drive
Each year just before winter, we host a community coat drive to ensure families are prepared for the colder months. This effort provides warm clothing to those who need it most, helping individuals and families stay safe and comfortable as temperatures drop. It’s another way we come together as a community to support one another during times of need.
Community Dinner
Each year during Ramadan, we host a community dinner that brings people together for a shared iftar. This gathering is about more than just a meal—it’s a space for connection, reflection, and unity, where individuals and families can break their fast in a warm and welcoming environment. It reflects our commitment to serving not just physical needs, but also fostering a strong and supportive community.
